Santa Fe
Santa Fe, New Mexico, is an adobe city of art, chocolate, chapels and Native jewellery under the portal of the Palace of the Governors.
ποΈ Welcome to Santa Fe
Santa Fe is one of the oldest capital cities in the United States, and it feels it. Low adobe buildings, galleries and a lively central plaza make it a joy to explore on foot.
βͺ Chapels and Culture
Loretto Chapel, with its famous spiral staircase, is a short walk from the plaza. Native artists sell jewellery under the portal of the Palace of the Governors.
One thing to note: parking in a central garage makes life much easier than hunting for a street space.
π Quick Tips
- π« Make time for a chocolate house.
- π Buy jewellery directly from the artists.
- π£οΈ Drive back to Albuquerque along the Turquoise Trail.
