Most people know Winslow, Arizona, from a famous song lyric, and the town has embraced it with Standin' on the Corner Park. But there is more here than one photo stop.
🚂 La Posada
La Posada opened in 1930 as one of the last great Fred Harvey railway hotels, designed by Mary Colter. Its restaurant, the Turquoise Room, is a destination in its own right, and there is a small art museum on site.
One thing to note: a short stop isn't really enough. Staying overnight lets you see the town properly.
