British Airways Club World: Heathrow to Las Vegas
Comfortable seats and a smooth ten-hour crossing, let down by a delay and a meal service that ran out of my choice again.

✈️ Checking In at Terminal 5
We flew Club World from Heathrow Terminal 5 to Las Vegas, a flight of around 10 hours 45 minutes. Check-in and the lounge were easy, and we'd paid for our seats in advance so we were sat together.
💺 The Seat
The flat bed is comfortable and the cabin felt calm. It's a real treat on a long-haul flight, and you arrive feeling human.
🍽️ The Food
This is where it fell down. The main meals weren't really to our liking, and when it came to the lamb, which we had both chosen, there wasn't enough on board for me. Again! My husband enjoyed his, though.
One thing to note: if you have your heart set on a particular main course, ask about it as soon as you board.
⏱️ Delays
Take-off was delayed by about half an hour, but we landed in the evening and the car hire shuttle was straightforward.
📋 Tips for Club World
- 💺 Choose your seats early if you want to sit together.
- 🍽️ Pre-order or ask early about the main course.
- 🧦 Bring cosy socks and a layer for the cabin.
- 🚌 Allow time for the rental car shuttle at Las Vegas.
