Istanbul Mediterranean Restaurant, Las Vegas
Generous salad bowls, a crisp lahmacun and service that put things right with free baklava.

🥙 A Taste of Turkey in Las Vegas
On our first full day we found Istanbul Mediterranean Restaurant downtown, a welcome change from casino food courts.
🍽️ What We Ate
I had a salad bowl with lamb and beef and chilli sauce, and we shared a lahmacun, with a small water and two Turkish teas.
🍯 Putting It Right
We were charged for the çay when we shouldn't have been, and the staff kindly gave us two free baklava to make up for it. A lovely gesture.
One thing to note: street parking downtown is metered, so allow for a couple of hours.
📋 Tips
- 🫖 Finish with Turkish tea.
- 🥙 Share a lahmacun as a starter.
- 🅿️ Use the downtown metered parking.
- 🍯 Save room for baklava.

A suite near the top of the tower with fabulous views: a little dated, but huge, and the quieter second room was even better.
